Definitely an increase in battery usage. I'll take my phone off the charger, get ready for work, not even use my phone, and it will have dropped 15%-20% in only ~30 minutes of only being in my pocket without using it.

Yes, we’ve received similar reports from a few S23 Ultra users noticing increased battery drain after the recent Beta install. If you haven’t already, we recommend:

Checking for apps running in the background using Device Care > Battery > Background usage limits

Restarting the device and clearing the cache partition (via Recovery Mode)

Monitoring high-usage apps in Battery Usage

If the issue continues, please submit an error report via the Samsung Members app with detailed battery stats, so we can help investigate further.

I'm having a similar issue with battery drain on my galaxy S23. I notice the location service icon showing up much more often than before ( I deliberately restrict location to only maps related apps). And when I check which app is using the location it doesn't show anything.

I only hope when you do come out with the state will version of the software update Hope it will fix the battery drain on the s23 ultra series
