Most of the drain seems to be coming from ui itself , isn't all that great on beta

I don't have battery problems with the Beta. Did you clear the cache partition and repair apps?

I just checked my One UI Home in battery just to see how it compares to yours and it's not even using much of anything at all. Have you tried to clear it's cache like ImRyan suggested? You just force stop the app then clear it's cache in storage. Personally I would force stop it and then delete it's data but that's me and it's because I don't mind if it messes up my home screen settings I'll just put them right back lol.Screenshot_20230905_175936_Device care.jpg

I had this problem. It seems to increase system resource usage after the app crashes when attempting to change wallpaper. It goes back to normal after rebooting.
