After my post yesterday, 5 Oct, after updating and noticing heating issues with light usage and severe battery drain. I did a bit of digging and noticed numerous app issues. I went ahead and cleared cache 3x in recovery mode, then optimized device in settings and finally received some app updates from the Play Store.
I'm now noticing no heating issues and extremely better battery life. Not sure if it worked out for some of you who were having issues as well. Just wanted to provide an update.
