Big bezel or big empty spaces

Pic #1 why we hace a little gray bar instead put black? 

Pic#2 looks perfect, the Pic show a delicate gray line to separate the space of the gesture bar but, when you scroll up Pic #3 the little tool bar dissappear and a big gap appears giving the appearance of a big ugly bezel. 

How many of you like that?

I don't like it at all
