Installed the beta on day one of offering (whenever that was). Today, (a few weeks later) the front & rear cameras won't work. Totally black screen.  Cleared app cache & data. Still nothing.  Any suggestions?

Regards, 😎

Hello,

Thank you very much for reporting the issue to us. We appreciate your contribution to the Beta community.

Please try steps below.

  1. Turn off the device.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Side key.
  3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
  4. An 'Installing system update' message may show briefly before the Android Recovery menu options appear.
  5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight Repair apps.
  6. Press Side key to select.
  7. Press the Volume down key to highlight Yes, then press the Side key to select.
  8. When the process is complete, Device reboots

Regards

Update: I deleted the error report as I found the setting in the settings/privacy/camera settings (allow all apps and services to use the camera) was set to "off". How this setting was changed is a mystery. Ugh!

Regards. 😎

Find the camera app In settings, apps, find clear cache or try force stopping the application. Then restart the camera app. I've done this and it's worked properly again.
