Charging port not working

Phone got wet from rain storm and never got a moisture message. Later on that night tried wired charging and didn't work. Also couldn't read flash drive. Next day some cords would charge and others wouldn't. Never had a moisture message. Ended up clearing cache and data on usb system app. Now all cords work. Not sure if moisture protection was working or not, but never got the message it was.

This is an old method, if you can try, you will see a better outcome. But a measure of rice and cover your phone with grain of rice overnight.
It will stuck out the moisture and your phone will be good again.
It is the very reason why you find silica gel in any new equipment or shoes or bag. There is moisture in your phone.
