Title pretty much says it all. If you try and share a link of any kind, app, website, etc.. 'Copy Link' in entirely missing.

I noticed this as well. Confused me. Doesn't make sense that it's removed. Hopefully it's just a small bug that can be easily fixed.

It's there in some apps. In most you can get a link through the "Quick share" option also.

There is copy to clipboards in Firefox, and an example of copying a link in quick share.

Unfortunately, quick share links are generated separately and expire after some time. Screenshot_20230912_062436_Firefox Beta.jpgScreenshot_20230909_194149_Quick Share.jpgScreenshot_20230909_194221_Quick Share.jpg

It shouldnt be on the apps to implement custom Share menus, especially after its been there in the past.

Thanks for sharing the workaround but that is a ridiculous number of steps vs it having used to be right there as the first option.

Hello,

Thank you for your feedback.

Though "Copy Link" option is not available as a button in the Quick Share menu, you can still access it in Quick Share menu : Share > Quick Share > Share using QR code (QR code icon).  You will see a "Copy URL" with a link under the QR code.

Your suggestion to make it available in the Quick Share menu has been communicated to the developer and the development project manager is reviewing the content. After reviewing your suggestions, we will apply them to the official version if your proposal matches our concept.
We appreciate your contribution to the beta program.

Regards,

One UI Beta Team

That is 10 steps more to accomplish the same bleepity-blooping thing. Which corporate clown signed off on that idea? The old way was faster, cleaner and more user friendly.

It's there under the QR code option. Makes no sense and hopefully they bring it back to the front and not hidden

There is no way Samsung thinks sharing a link by clicking several times and creating a quick share URL that is time limited, to share the intended URL, is easier and better than one touch share like it always have and should be.
