Data icon missing still have connection

Anyone else have no data indicator no 5G/LTE or any indication of having data yet still has a connection

If you haven't reported it, go ahead and do so. Something went wrong when they reverted the previous 5G icon change made in beta 2

This happened to me when I used a custom apn instead of the default tmobile apn. I don't know if it's the same for you, though.

I had the opposite happen to me earlier... Had 5G icon, but a blank signal strength indicator with an x, meaning I should have had no service (I live in rural Tennessee), but data connection was working fine, downloading apps, connected to websites, etc...

I thought it may have been a fluke... I'm curious now...

Thank you very much for reporting the issue to us. We appreciate your contribution to the Beta community. 5G icon is only indication of internet apn being connected. Other apn's may still be connected and working ok. As your internet is working fine, that is an issue why internet apn connectivity is not displayed.
