Samsung Keyboard is buggy (even in one UI 6). Autocorrect just doesn't work 80% of the time, 10% of the time it's inaccurate.
It lags and misinputs are a huge issue and it translates to a poor Galaxy Tab Book Cover Keyboard experience. The experience on my S24 Ultra with One UI 7 is similar to my Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra with One UI 6.1.1.
Samsung, do us a favor. Use Google Keyboard for 30 Minutes compared to Samsung Keyboard. The difference is massive

Samsung seems to be in the business of removing original features rather than improving them. Instead, they create watered-down versions of Apple features, like the "Now Bar" ā a less functional and premature take on Apple's Dynamic Island.
Key features like the Edge Panel or the ability to use DeX in a windowed mode have been removed. In contrast, Apple maintains its features and often improves by borrowing ideas from Samsung.
One of the main reasons I chose Samsung was for its unique features, such as Secure Folder and DeX, which I use daily. If these unique features become limited or disappear, then what differentiates a Samsung device from Apple's restrictive ecosystem?
Functionality matters most to me. The design, widgets, and apps on an Android phone have always been customizable, which is a significant advantage. This time, aside from useful AI features like grammar and spelling checks ā which are more convenient than Apple's ā the update didn't introduce anything that sets Samsung's flagship apart from the iPhone. Instead, it removed notable features that should have been kept.
It's a shame.

Believe it or not, Now Bar existed long ago in TouchWiz. It was brought back and adopted in the modern day with One UI Philosophy.
Live Notification is the Dynamic Island Copy. Which is Okay.

The Samsung keyboard has always been worse than Gboard. They got a ton a features but the autocorrect, word suggestions and touch accuracy has been terrible from the beginning. They claim they're using AI for all these other things, they need to use AI to come up with better spell check and word suggestion algorithms
