Freezing and battery

My home screen keeps freezing. Especially when I close an app. My battery also seems to be dying extremely fast.

Emilyy - Go into settings then apps and look for One UI Home tap force stop then tap storage and clear the cache and see if that helps. Also check if you have any updates in the Galaxy Store.
