DiscussionsHello,
Thank you for the feedback.
Achieving fullscreen video playback across apps like HBO, The CW, and Max depends on a few settings within the apps and your device. Here are some steps you can try:
1. Check In-App Settings
Many streaming apps have their own display settings:
Open the app (e.g., HBO or Max) and go to Settings or Playback Options.
Look for a setting related to aspect ratio, fullscreen mode, or zoom. Enable any option that forces fullscreen playback.
2. Use Pinch-to-Zoom
Some apps allow you to manually zoom in on a video:
While playing a video, use a two-finger pinch-out gesture to zoom in and fill the screen.
3. Adjust Your Deviceās Fullscreen Settings
Your device may have a fullscreen mode for apps:
Go to Settings > Display > Fullscreen Apps (or similar, depending on your phone model).
Find the app (e.g., HBO, The CW) and toggle on fullscreen mode.
4. Enable Gesture-Based Navigation
Some apps might not display in fullscreen properly if navigation buttons are visible:
Go to Settings > Display > Navigation Bar and enable Gesture Navigation for a cleaner fullscreen experience.
5. Note App Limitations
Not all apps natively support fullscreen playback due to how they handle aspect ratios. If none of the above steps work, it might be a limitation within the app itself. Submitting feedback to the app developer could help improve this in future updates.
