After trying it, I kinda wish they were more polished and feature-rich, but I guess I cannot complain about an optional app.

Glad to help. They did just move a few features from battery guardian to display assistant from good lock, but they also just added a network power saving option to make specific apps not use 5g Internet when mobile data usage is low.
