I've used Google Duo (now Meet) for many years on many phones (last one was S21, currently S23 Ultra). I've noticed a strange issue with sound from the speaker disappearing or getting extremely quiet for a few seconds. Using headphones fixed the issue, so it's not the connection or the other end (S21 Ultra).
