Heating up/Battery drain

I just reported these issues to the Beta feedback. Since updating to Beta 6 my phone is getting hotter than usual while playing games and watching YouTube at the same time. My battery also has an abnormal amount of drainage. I took my phone off the charger with 100% at 5am and it's now 1pm at 36%. I'm using my phone like I usually do and would normally have between 70-75% left by this time. I noticed this yesterday but thought that I'd give it another day to maybe adjust to the update but nothing is better.

Mine is warm also, battery drains alot faster too.

Yeah same here .. battery seems to have gotten worse... I hope they do something to correct the issue for the final release or even another beta

Did you boot into recovery mode and then clear the cache partition after the update? It's seriously one of the best things you can do to avoid most problems!

Tried booting into recovery mode and then cleared the cache partition. Still the same. Maybe after stable release and apps update for it, it'll get better 🤷

I would say boot back into recovery mode again and clear the cache partition one more time and then when it puts you back to the list of selections instead of using reboot use Repair Apps and see if that helps anything because I personally am not having any battery problems. In the very beginning there usually is a lot of battery usage but that's just until the operating system figures out which apps you use the most daily and then puts all of the other stuff to sleep thereby causing less battery usage. Edit: Also, make sure all of your apps in BOTH the Google play store AND the Samsung Store are up to date.
