Idk about anyone else but I have been noticing an insanely higher amount of ram usage.

I've been looking at Google Pixel's beta testing change log and that might get fixed in Beta 3.

Honestly the Ram is fine.... look at your running services in developer options. I think Device Care is messed up and the culprit to poor ram management and giving inaccurate readings.1749069154270.jpg1749069154279.jpg1749069678755.jpg1749069678763.jpg

It's not that simple. Firstly, look at the memory category on the top of that section. Also, while in the running services, click the three vertical dots at the top right and click "Show cached processes".

No matter how many times you remove those cached services and apps, they keep coming back regardless if you used them or not.

That's correct and normal. If you don't want apps to run in the background you must put them either to sleep or deep sleep.

That is the function of RAM. Not having that sit in the background means that activating the app each time in full. When removing RAM resources after using an app, it will then use more battery power to keep activating the app through more intensive CPU usage. With RAM, it calls back up what was there without having to use the CPU to recall all of the apps' services. It is not using CPU power when sitting in RAM. It is really a nothing burger here. If all of those services which have use a lot of RAM and current are still running services, and there is 5gig still of RAM, people are going to be more than OK with never running out of memory. That is unless the user wants to run as many apps a possible before the system crashes. And if the memory resources actually start to run low, then the system will automatically remove background apps from RAM to use with current one then being used.

In the end, the better number to go by is the top of that category in the developer options which will show more than 6gigs of RAM available and in the case of RAM, that is literally available memory  when it is actually needed.
