It's really a shame that people want to use "experimental" software but are not knowledgeable enough to know how to revert back to a stable software.... beta9 is the same as the stable release but doesn't have official software stamp so some secure apps won't work please anyone who wants to put their feet in beta work please understand what your getting into if your having issues go into boot menu and clear phones cache hopefully you know how to do that if your in here testing.
Beta 9 is NOT the same as the stable release. It may be for other countries but for the US and Korea, it is not. The build number for US has already changed from BWJM to BWK4. When the US releases the stable version, it will include fixes that the other countries have not received. Expect the build to change again before stable release in US and Korea. Also, branded devices weather unlocked or locked will have to wait for their carriers to release but unbranded devices which are factory unlocked dont need to wait for a carrier no matter what sim is being used. There is a big difference between unlocked and unbranded. Example of unbranded is XAA or FKR regions which come factory unlocked for any carrier. TMB is T-Mobile branded and if its unlocked, its still T-Mobile branded and must wait for TMB to release even if your on att with the unlocked branded device.
I'm never doing beta again. This didn't help nothing. My suggestions fell on death ears. I put me and my wife's phone on it. She's , I'm growing impatient, just a mess. My 1st and last beta tester rodeo. I fully understand where your coming from writer. Everybody wants to be phone experts now. Thanks though Samsung.
I agree with you if you look at my other posts where I put this is the same build I also said that usually after stable is released there will be a number of small updates shortly after but as for my comment saying this is the stable build it really is the final base without these small tweaks as you pointed out in your post. So I guess my point really is that people that come here to be testers be testers not complainers and if you don't know what Odin is or rooting you probably shouldn't be here and have came for the wrong reasons. People want to know why things get messed up well if feedback would be posted and less complaining then they would be able to see what they need to do and things may go more smoothly
