Laggy Keyboard Close Animation?

Does anyone notice their keyboard close animation being extremely laggy when they unlock their phone? It's especially noticeable on Google Messages.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open the keyboard in messages like you're about to text somebody

2. Lock your phone without closing the keyboard

3. Unlock your phone and press the close button in the bottom right (the arrow)

The animation will be laggy. Any other time and it's very smooth.

Yes, almost all animations are lagging. It has been reported that they are. Send them a log of yours and help them fix it.

Force stopp keyboard, clear data on keyboard see if that makes it better?

I don't have a problem with animation, and it's set to .5x. There's no lag on messages, but I use Samsung Messages, not Google Messages.
