Latest Update wrecked my Gallery

Just got the latest update (ZVIE) and it removed all of my albums in the Gallery. I was seeing if there was a way to remove the Recent and Favorites albums. When I created a new folder to house multiple albums it deleted all of my existing albums. All images are there in this ridiculous Recents album. It's a jumbled mess.

Any recovery options other than manually sorting this trainwreck?

Click on view all on the top right

I have. That's all that exists. Probably should have clicked it for the screenshot I used in this post though.

Try going into the gallery app info > storage > clear app data. See if that helps
