Leave Beta 8.5

Trading my phone into Best Buy so I needed to leave the beta and go back to 8.0 stable. I left it through the members app, hooked my phone up to the PC and open Smart Switch. The only options that pop up or backup and restore. Revert is nowhere to be found. Any suggestions?

If you have not received the S26 yet, wait. The device may auto-update anyway, then the device can be factory reset.

Already ordered. Deal only good till the 10th. May have to do delivery to give me time to do that

Right but that order will not be in hand before the 11th, AFAIK. The deal to purchase the 512GB model of the S26U for $1299 ends the 10th. Anyway, always do what feels best for you. 😊

Sometimes it can take an hour or so to show up on Smart Switch.

Yes unroll from the beta program than use smartswitch to roll back, BUT before you do backup your data as it will reset your phone if you do

You can trade it in with still being on the beta. Just need to factory reset the phone before you do.

And unenroll from beta

I update my phone every year and its still on beta. I just factory reset and thats it.
