When you refer to there's no option to turn it off.. is this what you looking for?.. I'm on T-mobile locked..

No, there is supposed to be an option to turn it off completely. Right now you can only choose how many gb you want it to use

If you do look at my screen shot there is a toggle to turn it off.
You can do both choose how many GB you want it to take and on/off toggle.
What carrier do you have?
