Lock screen brighter than home screen

Does anyone else see this? My home screen dims upon unlocking. It's not dramatic. Just enough to notice.

Yes. I turn screen off and turn back on and it's fixed.

Did you check to see if you might have "apply dark mode to wallpaper" enabled?

Is "Brighten Screen" turned on in face recognition settings? That will make the lock screen brighter.
