I had the same issue and called Samsung. The rep said that samsung messages is going away and Google messages will be the primary messaging app. On the 25 series samsung messages will not be reinstalled.

First it's not being Pre-Installed but can be downloaded from the Store second whoever you talked to either lied to you or don't know what they are talking about because a Beta Moderator had this to say1737438979261.jpg

I was having this same sort of issue. I started using Google messenger and all the text that I hadn't received, came through. I think it might be the server that Samsung is using. Try it and see what happens

While Samsung Messages isnt being officially discontinued, it does appear that it will continue to lose support and features like RCS as it is slowly phased out.

The real solution is to switch to Google Messages. It is superior in virtually every way except aesthetics.

This is not Samsung's doing this is the carriers as they are the ones that have control of RCS Messaging and Google is bullying the carriers into making Google Messages the only one to have RCS Messaging

Interesting. I hadn't heard that Samsung was under any external pressure to discontinue RCS in Samsung Messages.

Either way, the point stands. Google Messages seems to be the way forward.
