New Icons

Not too big of a fan of the new calendar, gallery, and my files app icons. They just feel so out of place with the white backgrounds so it makes OneUI 5 feel inconsistent with itself. The old ones were nice and they could've been touched up like the other icons (slight shape updates and gradient) rather than being completely changed, imo for the worse. Anyone else feel this way?

Agreed. The Gallery, Calendar and My Files icons are a step backwards and feel inconsistent.

Pretty sure this is a Material You bug occurring in beta 2. I even thought maybe this was happening because I never fully factory reset my phone after taking the beta. Is everyone having this issue? I wonder.

Also, when applying the color palette to app icons is switched on, the new icons don't seem to theme properly. Again, thought this was a bug.

I don't like the white background. Gallery and My Files apps look very ugly.
