No animation when closing Widgets

When you close widgets after you open it for 1 second, there is no animation. When you close it as soon as you open widgets, there is animation. Please fix.

Here to add that when you open the widget and use the back gesture then the close animation plays normally.

However when you open the widget and swipe up to go home then there isn't a widget close gesture, instead it just fades back to the home screen.

I noticed the exact same issue from day one. Really hoping this gets addressed. It's a small issue but make the system feel complete.

It's broken completely on beta 9. There is no animation even when you quickly close the widget.
