Anyone else having this issue?
While using one ui 8.5 with gemini reading message while using android auto i get the message "Phone is not responding. Please reconnect it and try again" but I can tell andoid auto is still working behind the message and Gemini is still communicating. So I click "ok" which closes android auto. Then I restart it and it is right where I left off with waze still running my route. This happens when direct wired or using aawireless adaptor.

Before with 8.0 UI, I experienced the same with android auto and asking Gemini a slew of questions after initiating it through my phone. It pauses or Gemini would pause alot on the responses... very annoying. Now with 8.5 UI, I also found out that my car's infotainment software had an update, Gemini responded better than initiating from the phone. I juat now need to initiate Gemini with my car's speak button. I would suggest to find out if your car's infotainment center needs an update. Some cars have OTA updates and others would have to be done by the dealership's service techs. And at other times sometimes, you may just need to park at a safe location, shutdown the car and reboot the car's systems.

I just made a report with Bluetooth connectivity issues with Android Auto.
I am having issues with Bluetooth devices staying connected in general, including headphones and devices like Ray-Ban Meta.

Yes, I submitted it with reports/logs. Thinking about submitting again with less time between when it happens and when I submit it.
