No argument here. I honestly do not think the UI could be considered a refresh aesthetically. There are some technical changes they made under the UI skin, and tbh, they could have just made these incremental changes to the UI 7 with monthly patches (they do that anyway). I feel the UI 7 is still a beta all along. For anyone new to the UI 8 with the fold/flip 7s coming from UI 6.1 and earlier, this is something new for them, yet it is something very familiar to S25 users in the betas that have not seen noticeable changes cosmetically. The changes with the UI 7 even have some not happy with not being able to not use battery pill in the status bar for the older pre-UI 7 version, and the quick panel cannot be adjusted to remove unwanted cells of tools, the cells can only be made in one's preferred top to down order; that is very restrictive.
I still have a tiny hope that UI 8 will be adjustable through Good Look plugins in the end, but after all of the GL plugins having been updated to work with the latest beta, I would think that would be the best testing ground to make and provide more granular control of the layout and looks; we'll see.

I totally agree. I dont see any difference. Everything is basically the same. Don't tell me this font changed, or any icon was made smaller or bigger. Thats not significant enough to claim an entire UI number
