Only 10x zoom in pro mode photo shooting?

If I remember correctly, when shooting in pro mode on earlier builds when the phone was released, the user could zoom up to 100x in pro mode.  I used to use pro mode to capture great moon shots at night.  

Anyone else tried the same or would like this ability?

Definitely need to be able to use the full zoom in pro mode. That's ridiculous.
