People APP in background

I just downloaded the beta 2 update and in the background now is running is an app called People. I never installed it I tried to stop notifications I tried to see where I could uninstall it. I can't get to stop running in the background I'm afraid it's going to use up my battery. Any help would be appreciated thank you

I had to remove it from edge panel to fix that

Thank you, not sure how I removed it but somehow I did. I just checked the edge panel and I don't have it, so maybe somehow that's what I did. Either way it's gone.

People's app is a edge panel open edge panel and remove from edge panel notifications will stop.
Go to settings - display- edge panel-panels uncheck people panel
