Predictive Back Animations (Developers Options)

I can see they brought back the Predictive Back Animations to the developer options..... Only issue is that it won't stay Enabled once I enable it, settings don't stick. I consider this very useful. Error has been reported. What's everyone else's thoughts on this setting coming back?

The same thing happens to me, it turns off once I leave that page.

It appears to inherently work without turning on the dev setting, at least when swiping back in the Settings application.
