Really bad battery drain.

OK. So after having the One UI beta 6 on my phone for maybe about 3 days now, battery life is definitely suffering. I mean it's draining and getting warm as I'm typing this. Popping this in so Samsung sees this. It's bad.

For comparison, this is just as bad as the dreaded Z Fold 3 battery life 2 something years ago......I would know because I had that phone 😅.

I usually compare with standby fully charged before bed, and seeing how much is lost overnight for battery drain stuff. Usually if 5-10% dropped I call it good-nuff.

Out of curiosity, what's eating the battery the most in the settings?
What kind of drain do you see if left not charging overnight?

I have noticed a little extra warming when gaming compared to 5.1.1.

Are you running performance profile? Performance or balanced?
What's your average SOT?

I'm glad you asked. I just checked my battery settings and Smart suggestions is using up 42.5% of my battery, which is very abnormal. I usually get pretty decent screen on time. This is very abnormal behavior for smart suggestions. I will be getting rid of smart suggestions from my Home Screen until this is fix.

My battery been amazing on this update I usually go to the gym at 11:30 unplugged it that before the update leave around 4 or 5 pm it will be on 60% this one ui 6 beta huge difference 11:30 to leaving at 5 or 6 pm it's on 80% this update really clean it shouldn't be one ui 6 I wish they was a big feature on one ui 6

You might be a lighter user than I am. I go heavy on my Z Fold 4 😆. Plus I had a battery culprit. Smart suggestions was using a whopping 42.5% of my battery.

I'm getting about 15 hours of use using beta. This is normal use. I have not tried to stress the battery with aggressive use like heavy gaming.
