DiscussionsHello,
Thank you for your feedback.
Staring from B OS, Secure Folder has been updated to operate as a completely separate and independent area from the general area to enhance extra layer of security.
Because of the new design, "Each time I leave an app" option is removed, and the default setting to "when screen turns off" option is in place. You can use the "Lock and exit" option instead.
We appreciate your contribution to beta program.
Regards,
One UI Beta Team

DiscussionsYes, but this doesn't make sense. The previous option was the most useful option and most secure as well.
An app launched from secure folder (for example Files or Samsung Internet) does not have access to the option lock and exit.
It is the most convenient option to lock as soon as any open apps from Secure Folder goes to the background.
Now, without this option, it is not secure anymore. Please bring back the option.

DiscussionsOkay guys. Conclusion. It's not going to be fixed. It's the same as Trash option in the gallery. It was widely discussed but never returned because the dearest Samsung dev team thinks they aren't necessary.
But I have a question to the developer team at Samsung. Do you set timer to your door's lock so that it locks after 5 minutes you left your home? Or you would want your home locked the moment you left? @USBetaModerator3 @USBetaModerator2 @USBetaModerator

DiscussionsI have observed that with each significant operating system update from Samsung, some beneficial features seem to be omitted. For instance, the functionality to activate the Assistant by swiping from the bottom edge has been removed. Furthermore, the "When Screen Turn Off" feature appears somewhat counterintuitive. It would be preferable if the "Lock when exit" feature had been retained. It is generally desirable for electronic security measures to activate promptly upon departure, rather than after a delay.
