Despite the bumpy ride this last update has had I'd like to shout out the devs working super hard to fix all the reported issues. Its been super cool to be part of this program and seeing the inner workings while they're being rolled out. Anyone else having fun with this or just me ๐Ÿ˜†

Most trouble free beta I've ever run. I suspect we'll see the stable release quicker than typical.

This is my first beta run and honestly its been really smooth. Very few issues on my end and quick fixes to ones I personally reported.

That is their job and it is not super hard, like physically taxing. What about the shout-outs to those who take chances installing beta software so the devs can read error reports, comments on issues, suggestions, etc all to make improvements on the software changed they make? Without allowing betas for public testing, the devs and engineers would largely be on their own testing all of the functions making the fixes, which would probably be a disaster in the final outcome. Devs & software engineers cost money, beta testers do free work while Samsung benefits form the marketing of good software functions largely made possible with free public testing.

Examples of two rules participating in betas from Samsung:

- Is there any compensation for One UI Beta Program participation?

- The One UI Beta Program is an opt-in, voluntary program. Your reward for participation is improved software for Samsung devices based on your feedback.

So everyone here is making Samsung devices better overall used by other folks not participating, with more features, functions etc. Then there is this.

- Beta Software Provided "As Is": However, it's important to understand that the beta software itself is provided "as is" and without warranty of any kind from Samsung. This means you use it at your own risk, and Samsung is not liable for any damages resulting from its use.

This is why insurance on your devices is very important. The devices they've chosen for beta this round were made for this type of testing hints why this wasn't open to all.
And yes it is at your own risk. However the new devices are designed for this.
Also if you didn't get a killer deal on your device that sucks. I recently upgraded from the s21 ultra to the flagship s25 ultra, s10 FE 5G tab and I'm currently waiting on the flagship watch 8. The new devices can handle all which had incredible deals that cost wayyy less than imagined. Choosing your device at the right time is key to saving tons of money while getting the best of the best.
As a tech junkie I see that as compensation in a way as well as being allowed on the inside of the beta. Its been really cool to watch this stuff roll out from the inside.
You don't have to participate if you feel some type of way about it like thinking their should be money compensated for your time.
Most of us enjoy being able to be involved without the want for anything more than simply just that.
