Spen locks phone up

Anytime I take my pen out to use it My phone becomes unusable until I put the pen back. 

Anyone else having this issue?

Yes I can't write a note or do anything until I put my pen back in and then take it out again.

Seeing the same issue. Selecting an application from the SPen tools just opens it in the background. It is not possible to interact with it until placing the SPen back in the slot.
