I am a power user, and I am on beta 8 using the S23+. I have seen a lot of little lags from switching apps and with notifications. It's hard to report these bugs because they are very specific and small things. But this is one reason IOS still has an advantage in software.
I somewhat see what you are saying. It's hard to explain but it definitely feels like the animations could be smoother. I recently had two phones, a Samsung and an iPhone, and although the Samsung animations for the most part feel fine, there's still something about it that just doesn't feel as smooth as iOS animations. I definitely felt it in One UI beta 3, and it's gotten better now that we are in Beta 8, but even when you compare the animations to other Android operating systems such as on the Google Pixel, it feels a little slow, not by much however.
