Verizon customers left out of one ui 4.0 beta

Why are verizon customers excluded from the beta? I have asked both samsung and Verizon and neither gave me a straight answer.

Yeah, I knew Verizon wasn't included. Though I have not seen anything about when or if Verizon models will get the beta. I really hope they do, soon.

Being part of the beta is up to the carriers and I don't recall Verizon or AT&T ever being part of them.

That I don't know. Search the community and see if you can. I have the S20 Ultra so I haven't kept up with this beta.

Can you install with an .apk on verizon?

No, because firmware updates are not apk files, only apps are.

I use total wireless. Which is a tracfone, which runs of Verizon towers. I was able to get beta. Maybe I'm considered unlocked, idk?
