I got a call via WhatsApp and during my watch call, I tapped the left icon speaker volume and my volume was at 70%. I increased it to maximum...and yet it still sounded like I had my phone in my hand on handheld mode.
I couldn't get the call volume anywhere near as loud as the chimes and ring volumes.
Is this a bug with WhatsApp vs a regular phone call? I will test this next
Running the beta? My Watch 5 Pro LTE with the beta is messing up call volume as well. It starts extremely low and when the volume dial is moved it flips backwards and gets stuck, never actually increasing the volume. Happens every time.
