Why is U.S. always last to get updates?

Still waiting for update on my Note 20 Ultra 5G. This is my 4th Samsung phone purchased directly from Samsung and nothing has changed.

Hello @Rochambeaux

USA devices need to meet additional requirements and regulations compared to other markets especially for carrier. This delays launch dates for US market.

Perhaps you should release the stable version as a beta to bypass the requirements and regulations, that way at least we have a more recent build and when you pass all the requirements we will just have an official release. Similar to apple that the final beta (gm) is the same as the final release.

The software still has to work with the carriers and they have to follow laws and regulations
