@Steves21 If you want secure messaging I suggest you checkout something like Signal.

@Steves21 Since the stock app uses an international messaging standard which doesn't support this, the best you would get is some type of false security. You would only be blocking the reading of the messages on your device when you access them using that specific app. 

If Samsung Messages offered this feature, someone could just run Google Messages on your phone and see the messages.
