themes only show in light mode

When I apply a theme, it only shows in settings menu when phone is in light mode. At that point I can't put the browser in dark mode unless I change it back to dark mode

This is dark mode (doesn't apply theme)

This is light mode (theme shows applied)

Theme applied won't allow me to goto dark mode on browser.

Very interesting. I have stayed away from custom themes while in beta, only use default dark mode. Waiting for final stable build to mess with it. Hopefully, dark mode is really dark when public release is pushed. Submit error report please.

I delt with this issue on the last one ui. My note 10+ and note 8 all work properly but not on note 20 ultra

that's really odd. hopefully there will be a fix soon. that's a good looking theme though. mind if I ask what it is?
