Family Hub 3 update Ring app constantly answering motion alerts

Since the update the Ring app automatically answers all motion alerts. This is extremely annoying.  When I'm walking out of the house the fridge answers the motion and I can hear everything in my house through the camera out side my house this is a major security issue!!!

My refrigerator does exactly the same thing with Ring app now.

I'm having the same problem. The latest update messed up the way Ring is integrated - it registers motion alerts as doorbell rings, and then automatically launches the app on the Family Hub display. Also, when doorbell rings, it automatically launches the Ring app and starts the microphone on my refrigerator (and mic sound is therefore brosdcasted on the Ring hardware at my door)!! THIS POSES SAFETY / PRIVACY CONCERNS AND MUST BE FIXED IMMEDIATELY!!

Having the same issue here! I would like to simply delete the app from my fridge, but I can’t! I also tried logging out of the app, but it keeps logging my back in! Ugh!

Same thing happening on our end as well. I'm day three with this fridge and literally fed up...google sync calander is not working, ice is super slow and the ring app constantly has a live feed going as soon as anything comes to the door. This is extremely frustrating.

Hey guys, are specialist did come back to us. Please try the following:

 

1)      Open Ring App

2)      Click the bell they want to configure

3)      Click Motion settings

4)      Click Smart Alerts

Once in smart alerts make sure the setting is set to "Light". This will reduce the number of alerts to your mobile app and family hub

Smart alert is not an option on my app.  Smart alert has been replaced with motion sensitivity setting which does not fix the issues cited by the users on this forum.   Please fix this issue. Motion alert is automatically turning on the ring app on my smart fridge.
