I received a system update to my Samsung Z Fold 3 phone today. Since I updated to the new version I am facing issues with several apps and it seems to be the version released is very buggy. Need support to revert it back to the older version. The current version on the phone is UI 5.1.1 from the update I received today.

You cannot revert system updates easily. Try this instead. With the device powered off, press + hold power and volume up buttons until the Samsung logo disappears. Using volume keys, highlight Repair apps, and then power to select and confirm if necessary. This will reindex all your apps.

Does this reset the app? Will we have to enter in our passwords and logins again?

The latest update on the Z Fold 4 has drastically slowed down all my apps and functions. Even the loading time for all pages on chrome is very slow. My wifi also drops randomly and I have already confirmed that my Internet and router are not the issue. Has anyone experienced the same? What's the best way for Samsung to recognize and fix this?

Samsung needs to take notice of this ASAP and fix it.

Hello, Welcome to the Community. We understand the frustration that updates can cause with apps.

One thing we recommend after each update is to clear the cache partition in the Recovery Menu, and as VerbumVertium suggested, also repair the apps.

To get to recovery mode:
- Turn off phone
- Once off, hold down volume up and power buttons simultaneously
- When Samsung logo appears, release power button BUT KEEP HOLDING VOLUME UP until the recovery menu appears
- Use volume buttons to navigate down to clear cache (NOT CLEAR DATA/ FACTORY RESET)
- Use power button to select.
- Run the repair apps option and your device will restart.

This does not delete your data or passwords.
The next recommendation is to make sure all the apps are updated after the phone updates. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00078952/
The article also provides helpful steps such as verifying permissions, changing the defaults, and uninstalling/reinstalling apps.
For Wi-Fi connection concerns, try the steps here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001559/

Additionally, a factory reset can often correct software concerns. Be sure to back up the phone first. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062029/

For continued concerns, we recommend submitting an error report using these steps: https://www.samsung.com/ae/support/mobile-devices/raising-an-error-report-via-samsung-members-app/

For unresolved concerns, we recommend having the phone evaluated by an authorized service location. You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S. that can do the repair: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location or by contacting customer support at 1-800-726-7864.
