Battery charge indicator (the Pill) needs to be changed

 Can somebody PLEASE fix the battery charge indicator? The new update has a terrible display for it..It is TINY SMALL AND SAYS HALF OF A NUMBER LIT UP??

Who would design such a thing? The battery condition is ThE most IMPORTANT status on the phone and I cannot imagine older people struggling to see this now..the whole top status bar is wayyy too SMALL!!! Please take a look at this..it was GREAT BEFORE..THANKS!

For now you can't.

I suggest going into the support section of the members app in the feedback section and explain your displeasure with it.

The more people report it being an issue the more likely it will be fixed in a future update.

As it currently is it is useless.

I removed it from my status bar uses QuickStar a module in the Good lock app from the Galaxy Store.

I added a battery widget to my lockscreen and put it in a stack with another widget.

I changed mine back. After the update it didn't show the percentage anymore.

I use Battery Widget Reborn to have a percentage number in my status bar notification area and their Battery Widget for my lockscreen and AOD.

I love their app, it gives my the temperature of my phone too! Their widget is next to my clock.
I like the way it looks.

I don't know why they change something that's WORKING. The dynamic icon is too vague to accurately gauge the remaining battery. Adding the number OVER that doesn't help because it still obscures the number. At the risk of sounding "Get off my lawn", what was wrong with the old one?

They also removed the battery indicator I found most useful: the big circle that momentarily appeared when you plug in the charger. It wasn't persistent or obnoxious. It was very clear and large enough to see without needing your phone right in your face.

The remaining battery charge indicator is something that users use multiple times every day.  It is hard to believe that they included such a bad design in their release.  Also hard to believe that it was tested with users.  Please Samsung fix this now!

Give us the option to customize it, at the very least! I would much prefer to have only text and no icon. 

This icon isn't at all readable when the charge level is between 30 and 80%, which is a majority of the time!!!
