Has anybody else had an issue with updates absolutely killing the battery I've been having back-to-back updates I do one and then it throws out a new date and says I need to do another update and then another one and then another one and today when my phone was 100% charged and I was on it for maybe 5 minutes by the time I got to my car 4 hours later it was at 0%. I have a fold 5. Galaxy phones have an adaptive battery feature that uses machine learning to optimize battery consumption based on your usage.

After a major software update, this feature resets and needs to relearn your usage patterns. You may notice diminished battery life for 7-14 days while this process takes place.

In the meantime, You can potentially alleviate performance issues by using Samsungโ€™s Good Guardians.

Download the app and run its various modules. These modules optimize performance and can identify unusual behavior.

App Booster re-optimizes your apps. This should be run after an update.

Memory Guardian helps clear up device memory and boost performance.

Battery Guardian provides a variety of tools to help extend your battery life.

Hope this helps!
