After installing the latest update on my Z Fold 5, I can no longer see how long in minutes it will take to completely charge when plugged in. I used to be able to pull down the notification screen and it would tell me, but that has disappeared. Am I experiencing a glitch or was this yet another poorly conceived change in the latest series of updates?

@Riffiki If you swipe down from the left side of the screen, you should see that information.

I used to be able to do that, but it no longer works. I changed the pull-down function so that notifications and quick settings are all on one screen like they used to be, so I don't know if that is preventing the charging information from showing, but in any case it's not showing the remaining time like it used to

@Riffiki I tried the Together and Separate settings on my Fold 6 and I still see the charging information at the top.

It shows that it is charging, it has the lightning bolt in the battery pill, I just can't see how long it will take to fully charge anymore

Do you have Battery protection enabled and is the battery level in the range where charging will be paused?

Have you checked if the information is showing in Device care -> Battery?

@Riffiki The only other possible suggestion I have is to wipe the device cache.

Did you wipe the device cache partition after the update? I recommend that you do this after every device update. It wipes out incompatible or outdated cache information which might be incompatible after the update. It does not erase any user data nor applications.

To wipe the device cache partition:

1. Power off your device.
2. Power up while holding down the Volume up key and the Side key until the Samsung logo appears.
3. An Android recovery menu will appear.
4. Use the Volume down key to scroll down to Wipe cache partition.
5. Click the side key to select it.
6. Use the Volume down key to scroll down to Yes.
7. Click the side key to select it. The Cache will be wiped almost instantaneously.
8. Click the side key to select "Reboot system now"
