1. Can someone help me with the chat 'write' blue icon. It sits in the lower right hand corner and it's abtrusively on the way of hitting the back button. Can I move it? 

I have a flip 6

I'm not liking the overall features as much as the 4.

2. Also, after I complete my phone call a pop with blue font/text up appears that looks like I should be texting the individual I just got off the phone. 

3. I need to change the default size of the photos. It won't let me. I can't text any photo with out downsizing it to a near blur of a photo.

4. Also, how do I delete photos that were not sent in the text ? I want to delete photos or text that are no longer relevant and clear up space.

What messaging app are you using?  The new chat bubble can't be moved out of the way, however, it should disappear and be out of the way once you start a chat or enter an existing chat, so I don't see how it can be in the way.

Ty, I hope im using the messenger app, it has adds, i don't like, once I 'paid' to get rid of advertising it's gone mostly away. When I look at contact info they r located in India. I trufully not sure if it's the same Samsung app as my flip 4. If you can direct me to the who in app store to confirm that would be greatly. I hope the update the ability to move the blue chat bucket that starts a chat, it is in the way. Tu for your help again

You should not have to ay for a messaging app.. Gogle Messages a d Samsung Messages cime pre instalked on your phone. They are free and ad free. You should immediately seitch messaging apps and uninstall the one you are using.. They are spying on you and collecting your information. If Samsung messages is not on your phone, you should be able to download it from the Falaxy store. It is ONLY available in the galaxy store. Hoogle messages should already be on your phone. Lok for it i. Your apps. It can be downloaded from the Play store. Make sure the developer information says Google or Sammsung for each app. This is why you are having these issues. Samsung *was* phasing out their messaging app, so it may not be available to download for you. If it is, it will ONLY be in the Galaxy Store. Use Google messages in that case.

I just realized I didn't address your other concerns

2) The photo file size is dependent on the resolution you shoot at.  If you have RCS turned on, you should be able to send your photos without reducing the size.  You can easily reduce the file size by cropping the photo ever so slightly (you wouldn't believe how many pixels are contained in the borders of a photo).

3) Do you think you can provide a screen shot of what's happening after you end a phone call?

4) To delete a message or photo in a text, just long press on it in the chat and hit the delete icon.  Where that icon is located depends on which messaging app you are using.

The camera is defaulting to huge file resolution . What is RSC and how do I find that?
I'm usually pretty good wizard when figure theses phones out. But this one is different. I included 2 downsized screenshot. One is where the ' open chat bubble is located ' that's where the back button appears as well so it's constantly hitting the back button 😮 and the send image pop-up is when I hang up the phone with talking to someone

Sorry, here is another photo I tried to send in TEXT and I get the RED LETTERS response. Plus people are telling me they are sending photos via text, and im not getting them either. Ty for you help🙏

That is not either the Samsung or Google Messages app. Uninstall it immediately. RCS chats is secure, encrypted chats and only available in Google or Samsung Messages. Google is better.  That picture of your phone call screen does not even look like it's the stock phone dialer. Look for "phone" in your app drawer.  Are you using a different camera app than the original? 

Where did you get your phone from? Was it new?  When you get a new phone, it comes with all the apps you need for it to function properly.  The only reason to download a different dialer, messaging app or camera app would be if there is one you prefer more or has extra features you want.  However, those are 3 items I would especially take care to make sure I was downloading clean apps from trusted developers.

Sorry to say you may have factory reset your phone to get back all the official apps.  Who knows what malware that app put on your phone. Back up your contacts and photos and don't even restore your cloud backup.  If you still have your old phone, you can do a Smart Switch transfer (unless you had those apps on the old phone too), If you don't have your old phone, it should have a backup of it in the Samsung Cloud, do a selective restore of your contacts and messages ONLY. All your other apps, download fresh and do not download that same messaging app.

OK, that was it. I found it in the Samsung up. You saved my day/year. OK, I will look into factory reset. I have done that before and I have not done that much with this new phone so it won't be much of a hassle. Tyty for your help. 🙏
