Fast Charging

My current phone is Flip-7 with Android 16 and One UI 8.

While charging the phone, how can I tell if it’s fast charging?   I have some old USB cables and older wall plugs, not sure if they are capable of fast charging.  

I noticed that when with certain cables, the Flip-7 would show Fast Charging for a few seconds and show Charging afterward.

I use a 45watt Samsung charger block with a 5A cable and I get the same, it'll show Super Fast Charging 2.0 then show Charging only, S25U

To be specific, I see Fast Charging 45%, not Fast Charging 2.0.   
Not sure if this is the same.

Both should show, but both switch to charging

I guess if not fast charging, it would just say “Charging 45%”, right?

I wish there is a more definite way to check.

It will say fast charging on the bottom or top pf you notifications when you pull down the notifications menu. Fast charging 2.0 is only of your phone can do a 45 watt charging, which im not sure of the new Flip 7 can 45 watt charge but it should say fast charging though.

While it matters that u use a 25 or 45 watt block and 5amp cable to actually get fast charging or superfast chargeing(depending on your model) the charger is actually in your device and fluctuates the amount of wattage it recieves to prevent the internals and battery from getting to hot. So if your phone is below 35% it will fast charge if over that it may regular fast charge awhile the fast charge awhile.another way to tell is when you plug your cable into phone you will get a colored circle. If its green it 15watt fast charging,if its blue it's 25 watt charging and if it's turquoise it's superfast charging

Throw in another twist .   I was in Home Depot, I saw a 20W wall charger.   Is 20W fast charging?
