I dislike how using Vol - now only goes down to vibe mode. Please reconnect silent to the button. Thanks.

Fold & Flip PhonesYou can go to settings/sounds and vibration and just select "mute". This will turn off all sound and vibration. If you only want to do this periodically and it is too much effort for you to open the settings and go into sound and vibration, you can create a routine or mode to automate or make the process easier (mode for ease, routine for automation).

Fold & Flip PhonesI believe the sound toggle under the brightness bar only controls the media volume, as it is currently at the level I have set the media volume to.

Fold & Flip PhonesOh, I never did that. I just set my volume levels for each of the items and leave it at that. I did create a "quiet" mode for when I am in doctors' offices, hospitals or really anyplace that needs sounds off. It is different than theater mode, because I specifically created it to set a volume level for connected headphones/buds, which I would not use in theater mode (unless I was amplifying ambient sound).
Edited: Oh, yeah. I see now. Long pressing the speaker brings one to the very settings I pointed out, besides being a toggle. That must have replaced the quick panel button for it, as I see it no longer available.
