Fingerprint data corruption

Fingerprint sensor is not working. 

Checked settings, and received a message stating my fingerprint data has been corrupted. 

Trying to re-register my fingers but I get this message 

Tried all troubleshooting steps except for a factory reset. 

Anyone else?

Did you run a diagnostic on the fingerprint sensor? The sensor could be bad. Do the diagnostic before you jump through any more hoops. Diagnostics can be found in your device care settings.

Having the same issue on Samsung 832 the sensor never works and I get the same message try restarting and all troubleshooting steps and I also did everything but factory reset
