Flip 6 crashes every time I close it after One UI 7 update

Ever since I updated my Flip 6 to OneUI 7 my phone completely crashes every time I close the phone!!! It even does this when booting in safety mode! 😞

I already tried clearing the cache of the phone on boot and the OneUI app, but no luck. 

Any ideas? Support wants me to factory reset but I'd prefer not to. Also I can wait for the next OneUI update which is supposed to be imminent but not sure it fixes this bug or not

Run the diagnostics under the Support tab in the Members app to check hardware issues.

If troubleshooting, or another update, does not stop the phone from crashing, we recommend having the phone evaluated by an authorized service center.
