Flip6 Screen Unresponsive at Random Times

This all started happening after the update:

When I try to turn on my screen by tapping it or pressing the power button nothing happens - the screen stays black, but I can feel some tiny vibrations so I know it's getting some input. This applies to both screens inside and out.

Then I wait a few minutes to try again and my screen turns on like normal, and I get mini pop ups saying "System UI isn't responding" and "One UI Home isn't respnding" (pictured below).

This happens very sporadically - a couple times in 30 mins or once every few hours. It's like playing russian roulette. If I ever need to call 911 for an emergency I'm gonna have to sit there and wait for up to 5 minutes for my screen to turn on again. There have been times where i wanted to send a quick text or call or pay with my phone but couldn't because my screen wasn't turning on until a few mins later.

This has to be a software issue with the pop up messages I receive after the blackout. I have been an avid Samsung user because I like the customizability but this recent update really made me think, "was this necessary?" For the first time in my life I'm thinking of getting an iPhone instead because at least you know they work.

I've already cleared my cache through recovery reboot and everything is up to date. I also get the problems everyone else has been getting like battery drainage and phone heating up. Sigh.
